LEWF feels not only is it important to provide rehabilitation to wildlife, but, also to educate the community about wildlife, especially those who live in areas that are prone to an encounter with wildlife. LEWF attends and has an information booth at two main events in Los Alamos County; Earthday and Bear Fest. We also attend smaller community events when available. This is also a primary way to bring awareness of the organization to communities, but also, raise funds to help fund Cottonwood Rehab.
